Rowena Walmesley  A.I.S.T.D

Rowena began dancing at 3 years of age competing at her first competition at the age of 4. She then went on to win the ISTD National Latin title in 1997 also coming second in the ISTD National Ballroom finals in the same year. In every examination Rowena has taken she has gained top grades in Ballroom, Latin American, Sequence, Disco Freestyle, Rock 'n' Roll & Tap.

Rowena was assigned the position of Dance Co-ordinator, where she taught dance to younger children & organsied the annual dance show.

After completing her A Level studies in Business Studies, Economics and Politics, Rowena has now become a full time active member of staff at Hot Steps Dance Academy. Teaching most of the Disco and Street classes at the school.

Rowena has recently successfully passed her first professional teaching qualification with the ISTD, receiving the highest grade. She is looking forward to opening new centres of Hot Steps Dance Academy in the near future.
