The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) is the worlds leading dance examination board.

The examination system available through the ISTD is comprehensive. Social and Pre Bronze medal tests are available to social dancers and beginners. Pupils may continue their examinations as the levels progress from Bronze to Silver, Gold, Gold Star and Awards.
Competition dancing has grown tremendously over the past two decades and has become a worldwide activity. The ISTD run a wide range of competitions all over the country, in all forms of Dance Sport.
